Gordon brings a diverse background of experience in education, Indigenous Allyship and ceremonial healing to NCPR. As an educator he worked in outdoor leadership development programs with at risk youth where he learned about the healing power that nature offers to all people.
He also completed a Masters of Education degree where he used contemporary political theory to investigate how to help people develop anti-colonial praxes. In addition to studying pedagogy and teaching Gordon has worked closely with Indigenous communities across the continent to help them defend their land and traditions. Through allyship he has been introduced to a variety of healing ceremonies that continue to expand his understanding of politics and nature. For Gordon, NCPR is the nexus of a lifelong commitment to social justice, anti-colonial resistance and the thoughtful pursuit of beauty and connection for all people.
