IMN-PN funding supports Indigenous students and researchers pursuing Indigenous wellness-related research.

- Deadline: Most have deadlines of February 1 and August 1 at 5pm PST. The Research Experience Award has a rolling application deadline.
- Availability: Students studying in or conducting research in British Columbia or the Yukon are encouraged to apply. Undergraduate and graduate, but it is dependent on which type of award you are applying for.

NSERC Indigenous Student Ambassadors Grant
The NSERC Indigenous Student Ambassadors (NISA) grant aims to engage Indigenous students and fellows in promoting interest and participation in the natural sciences and engineering (NSE) by visiting Indigenous communities and schools in Canada. Ambassadors could share their research and education experiences at an information booth at a community event or Powwow, or they could deliver hands-on science promotion activities at a workshop for youth in the community, among other possibilities.
- Value: Up to $5,000
- Deadline: Minimum of two months before start of activity
- Availability: Undergraduate and graduate students
