CREATE is an all-campus student event run by the Office of Scholarship, Research, and Creative Activity.
Objectives
- To recognize and celebrate student scholarship, research, and creative activity
- To offer a venue for students to attend an academic-style conference within a safe, collegial atmosphere
- To afford students the opportunities to share their work and get feedback
- To help foster the culture of scholarship, research, and creative activity at VIU

Registration
Early Bird Registration goes from January 15 to March 7. Registrations will be accepted until March 24, 2025. All those who register after March 7 will be accepted based on space availability.
Awards and Prizes
CREATE distributes thousands in awards and prizes annually. Over $25,000 worth of awards and prizes were distributed at CREATE 2024. Check out the full list of awards for CREATE 2024.
