The purpose of the Provost Awards for outstanding Scholarship, Research and Creative Activity is to recognize Vancouver Island faculty members for excellence in scholarship, research and creative activity. These awards publicly recognize faculty for their efforts to support the University’s core commitment to excellence in a wide range of scholarship, applied research and community engagement. There are eight award categories including:
- Undergraduate research mentor award
- Graduate student research mentor award
- Distinguished researcher award
- Interdisciplinary research award
- Early career research excellence award
- Knowledge mobilization award
- Deans' Scholarship, Research and Creative Activity Award
- SRCA Service Award
Provost Award nomination packages will be accepted until May 15.
