Holding eye contact with such a powerful animal is not something I imagined I'd ever do, nonetheless capture such a moment. But my internship in South Africa kept providing me with gifts I never knew I needed. I’m forever grateful to VIU, the Global Studies program, and QES for giving me these unforgettable memories.

Build A bike: While studying abroad at Hogeschool Utrecht, I explored the design process for a Ph.D. researcher exploring Social Practice Theory and how to change the social practices of users to treat their belongings more sustainably. Our prototypes included a design toolkit for non-designers, an online build-a-bike, and a visual design diary
