All applications for grants, awards, chairs, and honours must be submitted in the ROMEO system and approved by your faculty Dean and the AVP Research before they are submitted to the funder.
Please reach out to a Research Facilitator when you decide to apply. All applications must be received by the University’s internal deadline ten (10) business days before the final submission date unless otherwise noted. Learn more about VIU's approval process for research funding.

Our Grant Facilitators are available to identify funding opportunities, discuss research plans, offer advice and review grant applications before submission to external agencies.
