Are you interested in pursuing scholarship, research or creative activity (SRCA) in your new role at VIU? The purpose of the New Employee Orientation to SRCA series is to introduce you to the resources and opportunities available to faculty and students at VIU. Our goal is to ensure that we answer your questions about how to engage in SRCA and to set you up for success.

The series will kick off with a welcome by VIU’s AVP of SRCA, Dr. Nicole Vaugeois followed by an overview of the services and supports available at VIU. In follow-up sessions, new employees will have the opportunity to learn about some of the unique program opportunities ranging from funding, engaging students, international research, and a professional development program.
