Dr. Cynthia-Lou Coleman is curious about the similarities and differences between how Indigenous scientific and cultural issues are covered by the media in Canada and the United States.
VIU has been selected to participate in two federal research award programs. The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) grant will help post-secondary institutions become more inclusive, welcome diversity, and improve research and employment opportunities for underrepresented groups. The Dimensions Pilot provides federal recognition of their work on EDI.
Inspired by the environmental research she was able to participate in at VIU Kimberley Barrett is excited to enter into the world of research following graduation.
