Welcome Dr. Cynthia-Lou Coleman, 2019 Fulbright Canada Jarislowsky Foundation Visiting Research Chair in Aboriginal Studies

Dr. Cynthia-Lou Coleman is curious about the similarities and differences between how Indigenous scientific and cultural issues are covered by the media in Canada and the United States.

VIU selected for an equity, diversity and inclusion grant and the Dimensions pilot program

VIU has been selected to participate in two federal research award programs. The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) grant will help post-secondary institutions become more inclusive, welcome diversity, and improve research and employment opportunities for underrepresented groups. The Dimensions Pilot provides federal recognition of their work on EDI.
