What is Research Week?
Research Week was launched in April 2018 as a means to engage students, staff and Faculty to share and celebrate their scholarship, research and creative activities with the broader VIU campus and local community. Research Week is evidence of VIU's growing research capacity where we celebrate the culmination of the amazing work that faculty, students, and staff are doing here throughout the academic year.
The celebrations include a variety of events held by various departments over the week including the annual student CREATE conference, case study slams, a faculty research symposium, undergrad and graduate research symposiums, performances, displays, meet-ups etc.
