Our research is focused on ecosystem-based management, operational applications, environment and climate change observation networks. We study hydrology, aquatic biogeochemistry, and climate science in watersheds across coastal British Columbia, Canada. A key focus of our research is to expand weather and water observation networks in remote areas of British Columbia. The data we collect are intended to address climate change and inform natural resource management decisions. We work across the Pacific Coast of British Columbia, and are based out of Vancouver Island University (VIU) in beautiful Nanaimo, BC.
