Intertidal BioBlitz
The shorelines along the Salish Sea/Georgia Straight
Join us on our first annual Intertidal BioBlitz! We are collecting data from all around the shores of the Salish Sea. We are looking for citizen scientists of all ages to head to the shore and document the biodiversity you discover! It's free to participate, just download iNaturalist onto your phone or tablet and get started.
When? April 1 - 3, 2022
How? See, discover, photograph or listen, upload, identify, learn.
Why? Learn more about what lives on the intertidal. The closer you look, the more you will find!
Who? Citizen Scientists of all ages!
Where? The shorelines along the Salish Sea/Georgia Straight.
Every observation submitted will be counted as a ballot in the daily prize draw. Proper social distancing as well as other safety considerations when at the beach are expected for all participants in this event.
