Join us for the third session of this speaker series to learn about seaweed aquaculture and the benefits it can bring to rural communities. Graduate student, Sarah Foulkes, will speak about her research on the potential for local seaweed aquaculture, barriers to the industry, and how community planners can set this industry up for success. Guests will enjoy a homestyle seaweed-based lunch while learning about the ongoing research at Vancouver Island University.
