Big Beach Clean Up at Deep Bay Marine Field Station Sept. 30
Big Beach Cleanup 2017
We invite you to participate as we join forces with some of our neighbours for the volunteer Big Beach Cleanup 2017. We'd love to have you there!! Please spread the word in your circle(s).
The Association for Denman Island Marine Stewards (ADIMS), the BC Shellfish Growers Association (BCSGA) and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) are working together, as a part of the Great Canadian Shore Cleanup, to help clean the shores of Baynes Sound.
We share a common interest in protecting our local waters from the impacts associated with marine debris and are excited to come together to expand individual efforts.
Communities surrounding Baynes Sound, both large and small, are growing rapidly and the human impacts to Baynes Sound – both on and off the water – are also increasing. We all benefit when we take steps to ensure a thriving marine ecosystem. Please sign up as a company or as an individual to participate on one or more of these days.
