The 10-minute oral presentation can be an effective way to try out new ideas, introduce your work to others, and hone your public speaking skills. Presenting at a conference is a great opportunity to gain valuable feedback from your community, and your participation is a fantastic addition to your professional resume and academic CV.
The 10-minute oral presentation sessions for CREATE 2021 will be conducted via Zoom. You will pre-record your presentation, upload it to VIUTube, and send the link to CREATE@viu.ca. You will be assigned to a 1 hour session during CREATE. You are expected to show up at your session and remain for its entirety. Your presentation will be viewed followed by 5 minutes for questions and comments from the audience and adjudicators. Presentation sessions are open to the public.
