Jake's professional career spans 35+ years in four provinces, six municipalities, and one regional agency. He has a Master’s Degree in Planning, an MBA, completed the Harvard Executive Leadership Program.

Led by Pam Shaw and Graham Sakaki. This three year research project is looking at human/nature connections in mountain environments starting in the UNESCO-designated Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region (MABR). One-quarter of Canada’s land mass is made up of mountains, seven times the area of the European Alps.
