The All for One and One for All Award

Description: Working in a team environment has many rewards, but working together to present your project as a cohesive unit takes many skills. Time management, patience, coordination and connectivity are just a few things that groups need to master in order to present well. This award recognize the group presentation that best exemplifies mastery of these skills.

Number: Minimum one award per conference

Amount: Minimum $500 - can be cash, prize or a combination of both. Increased amount recognizes it will be split among many people. Amount could be contingent on number of students in group (e.g. $100 per group member).

2019 recipients: Ali Brown, Grace Penhale, Luke Wagner, Manti Burke, Max Gaber, Shaelyn Clark & Spencer Woodward for their project titled Petrology of Mafic Volcanic Rocks near Stocking Lake, Ladysmith, British Columbia. There was doubt in the SLAM audience that seven people could pull off a three minute presentation - but these folks proved us wrong! As you may be able to tell by the photo - they are a pretty fun group.
