Are you interested in pursuing scholarship, research or creative activity (SRCA) in your new role at VIU? The purpose of the New Employee Orientation to SRCA series is to introduce you to the resources and opportunities available to faculty and students at VIU. Our goal is to ensure that we answer your questions about how to engage in SRCA and to set you up for success.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will clarify exactly what a Podcast is, how it is different from and similar to radio and other audio media, and consider how to get started in Podcasting.

The goal of this session is to introduce participants to the broad landscape of health research in Canada and will cover a wide range of topics, including: What is health research and why is it important? Who provides funding to make it happen? Who typically conducts research studies? How do you write a good research question? What are different ways to share study findings? I want to get involved, where do I start? Hosted by the BC Support Unit,  Vancouver Island Centre.
