Africa Day is a day to celebrate and acknowledge the successes of the Organisation of African Unity (now the African Union) in the fight against colonialism and apartheid.

Eid-al-Fitr

The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. Muslims believe that they are commanded by God, as mentioned in the Quran, to continue their fast until the last day of Ramadan before offering the Eid prayers.

Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday is one of the most celebrated events for Christians worldwide. It commemorates Jesus Christ's resurrection from death, as written in the Christian Bible. One of the popular secular customs for Easter is to paint eggs in bright colors, and organize a hunt for hidden painted or chocolate eggs.
