Community Partner Series: SPRING INTO ACTION! Professional Volunteer Opportunities Overseas

With Tammy Hoblok, Canada World Youth. Learn about EQWIP HUB, a Canada World Youth/ Youth Challenge International initiative funded by Global Affairs Canada, that provides volunteer opportunities for Canadian students and graduates (up to age 49), overseas. EQWIP HUB is a global network of collaborators including: UN-Habitat, TakingITGlobal and the Education Development Centre reimagining how young women and men nurture the tangible skills and resources needed to become valued economic players and transform the economic trajectory of youth around the world. The program connects Canadian volunteers, youth participants, and international partners through innovative programming in Bolivia, Ghana, Indonesia, Peru, Senegal and Tanzania for short term and 3 - 6 month placements.  The program covers many of the costs, plus a monthly stipend, while volunteering abroad.
