Immerse, Explore, Educate: Unveiling the Wonders of Water and the Ocean at the Deep Bay Marine Field Station
K-12 teachers are welcomed to join us for an exciting, hands-on day of learning for educators, with a water theme.
Educational organizations from in and around Vancouver Island will present an overview of the programs they offer for K-12 students.
VIU's STEMantics public education program is your host, and we will share our program options.
An afternoon field trip to the intertidal zone will be featured, so don't forget your boots!

Taste of The Salish Sea
We ask all visitors to please be aware that our classroom will be closed on Friday October 12 from 9am - 2pm for a private event (Taste of the Salish Sea). Our main parking lots may be full but overflow parking areas will be available. We remain open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm.

We will be open just for shoreline clean-up volunteers from 12pm to 3pm! Want to come visit? Then help us clean-up the shores of Deep Bay!
