Pink shirt day

Pink shirt day or anti-bullying day, which originated in Nova Scotia, Canada,  is a day when people wear mainly pink shirts to symbolize that they are against bullying. The original event was organized by David Shepherd, Travis Price, and a few friends, who bought a bunch of pink shirts and distributed after seeing a grade 9 student bullied for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school. 

In 2020 in Canada, Pink Shirt day observes on February 26. The focus is to "lift each other up".
